The co-ordination of different functions within a unified overall form
There were 4 required spaces, Cellar, Hearth, Bathe and Belvedere. This translated to somewhere low, to bathe, to congregate and to observe from. It was important that these different functions coexist in a form that celebrated seamless circulation and was dynamic from all angles. The overall design language was found by giving a simple, recognisable gesture to each of the 4 ideas. The result was modelled in Rhino and built with white card.
