The creation of habitable space using stereotomic and tectonic design processes

This early project introduced several different design tools; the stereotomic/tectonic process (subtractive/additive), a system of organisation (regulating lines, different scales), relationships (vertical/horizontal, ground plane) and the Principles of Gestalt (symmetry, parallelism, continuity, uniform connectedness). The form was iterated through simple 3D modelling in Sketchup, and theoretically sits on the water of Wellington Harbour.
